IPL 2023 Day 27
RCB v KKR
Hello and welcome to today’s newsletter.
With yesterday’s match, we are at half way mark and teams are really close on the points table. CSK and GT are on top with 10 points, while RR, LSG, RCB and PBKS are at 8 points so not a huge lead CSK and GT have on top. At the bottom half of the table, MI are at 6 while KKR, SRH and DC are at 4 points.
So 7 teams are sort of neck to neck and bottom 3 teams will need a monumental effort to qualify for playoffs but T20 is a funny game, fortunes change rapid here so let’s see what 2nd half brings to us.
Last Matches Summary
Match 35 - Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians
GT powered through to a massive score, thanks for Miller and Manohar’s partnership, after Shubman’s decent start. And Tewatia’s 3 sixes were quite impactful too.
In return, Mumbai never got off to a start that looked like they could win this game. Wickets kept falling, and it all ended for them soon.
Brief Score: Gujarat Titans 207/6 (Gill 56, Miller 46, Abhinav Manohar 42; Chawla 2/34) beat Mumbai Indians 152/9 (Nehal Wadhera 40, Green 33; Noor Ahmed 3/37) by 55 runs
Player of the Match: Abhinav Manohar
